Poetry Luv is a long-running creative platform founded by INDIGO YOUTH LTD in 2014, delivering poetry-led workshops, live events, and artist development opportunities for young people across the UK.

The platform provides accessible entry points into literature, spoken word, and performance, supporting participants to develop their writing, confidence, and creative voice through structured workshops, mentoring, and public showcases.

 

Poetry Luv has delivered programmes and events nationwide, creating inclusive spaces for emerging talent to grow and connect with wider audiences.

Through this platform, INDIGO has featured and supported the development of a number of successful artists, including Sophia Thakur, George the Poet, and Nego True, alongside many other emerging creatives who have progressed into professional careers.

Poetry Luv has been supported by leading funders and partners, including Arts Council England, The National Lottery, The Phoenix Way, and Brixton Recording Studios.

As both a cultural platform and an income-generating programme strand, Poetry Luv demonstrates INDIGO’s ability to deliver high-quality creative engagement while building sustainable models through workshops, events, and partnerships.
